I have never been to the MoMA - Museum of Modern Art - in New York City before. Jason treated me to a brilliant tour. It's always interesting to see a painting you've felt passionate about in person. Van Gogh's Starry Night created a crowd. I was astonished at how small Salvador Dalí's Persistence of Memory really is. I was in awe over Monet's toweringly large watercolors and Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. After the MoMA, we glided to the Guggenheim for the Vasily Kandinsky exhibit. Brightly spun watercolors, loving every single piece. Art has a way of inspiring me in so many different ways- how I dress, what I cook, the kind of music I listen to. Art is as important as the air you breath. I chose to dress casually and comfortable for this fun day of sightseeing in New York City...
