Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2011

Elie Saab Spring Haute Couture 2011
{Collage #2}

Inspired by Paris Fashion Week, I couldn't resist delving back into collage mode. Elie Saab is a designer who not only incorporates classic silhouettes and soft color palettes but also knows what Fashion Design is all about, allowing a woman to look and feel great in clothing. The entire collection revived the Old Hollywood image of its famous sirens. Up to there slits, Jessica Rabbit sweetheart necklines, palatial shimmer and corset waists. In my mind, truly sexy. I'm happy to see a designer embracing the face of Fashion and full blown, romantic elegance.

It doesn't hurt that I'm partial to a splash of pastel, blush tones or ground sweeping gowns... it's no wonder Saab has "become synonymous with luxury and modernism."

I like the J. Rabbit comment and agree about the shine on those dresses, extravagant glamour. Lovely.
